Up early to make my way along The Illawarra High Way the scenery is beautiful and it crosses the spectacular Macquarie Pass with many hairpin bends and many steep gradients, unsuitable for big trucks and other articulated vehicles. Faithful Plod had no trouble unfortunately I was unable to stop to take any photos.

I had arranged to meet up with some Morgan friends at Watamollta in the Royal National Park for a picnic lunch. Fortunately it was a fine sunny day and many Morgan’s turned up. The men cooked chicken and sausages on the BBQ with melon for afters. The day was good meeting up with old friends.

I went back to Geoff and Stephanie home to have some fun playing with his 4/4.Morgan straightening the front bumper brackets that hadn't been put right from years gone by after a slight bump, and genially helping to put a few items back on the body after the rebuild. While Stephanie fed us with the usual gourmet food like roast beaf and Yorkshire pudding.

Geoff gave me the afternoon off as we had to pack up early to wash and brush up for the MOCA meeting in Ryde at the RSL club. Then Ian Smith popped around with his Morgan that had developed a noise, a loose strut was detected and I promptly tighten it up. I got a big hug for my trouble.
Time to fetch Geoff and Stephanie grand children from play school, then off to the club for a meal many of us were eating and very good it was to I met many people I knew including Stan and his wife an NBC member. The evening was a swinging success and for those that could not attend missed a great evening. It was fun.

Geoff’s speedo was not working in his new recondition 5 speed gearbox, the fitters had not put in the right size gear which meant the speedo cable did not work. So out came the seats and gear box cover to remove the core plug that holds in the speedo drive not an easy job, really rather annoying. You cannot trust any one these days to do a job properly.

We had to go and visit Peter and Sue about the Morganeer which was very enjoyable they had the most gorgeous little dog that I fell in love with. Peter made a great cup of coffee which was well appreciated by me with cakes just to put on a few more pounds. I will just have to starve my self for a few days with all this good food and red wine I am getting from all my Australian friends around the country.
I had a phone call from Richard at 6pm to say I was invited to Rogers Party to night Roger 65 birthday Richard had forgot to tell me. I rushed around had a quick shower and met Richard at a lorry park on the way up to Terrigal. All I can say is that it was a fabulous party.

I helped Geoff chop a tree down in his garden with a blunt chain saw it was a good job it was a small tree, we finished the job by lunch time. After lunch I tried to sort out all the snap shots I took at Roger’s party last night. I could not make up my mind which one’s to use so I put all of them on to Flickr.
Ian and Barber invited us over for dinner to night which was another good do, plenty of food and wine. Such a lovely couple.
