The Long Drive Lake Argyle to Wyndham

Oct 10
I was up early with the sun rise as it is pleasantly cool at this time of day.

I drove to Kununurra and stopped in a very large pull off to download my Blog and catch up with a few friends. I popped in to see Helen, she was staying at Hidden Valley caravan park set in a mango orchard with ripe fruit dripping on the ground. I had a coffee with her and came away with loads of ripe mangos, the best I had ever tasted. This site has it’s own repair bay with oil changing facilities. A really great site to stay in with its gorges and pool.
I wanted to get to Wyndham to have a look at the Five Rivers Look Out.  Unfortunately the Sun was far to bright and gave a misty haze I should have stayed to see the sunset to do the scenery justice. Wyndham was a quite town. The few shop’s could have been smartened up a little to encourage visitors to stop by, especially the sign at the garage that was supposed to be an information center. Although it had a very good picnic spot at the Five Rivers Look out.
