The Long Drive Currumbin Waters to Maroochydore and North Arm

September 1
Just to let you know I have a touch now!
Well, Plod is now fixed with a Land Cruiser rear axle which is much stronger. Doug has paid and organized the whole operation what a very fine couple. I brought 5 new wheels and tyre’s I needed, 4 new tyre’s, so generally I have done very well.
I left Doug and Linda and made my way up to Brisbane gave a couple of friends a ring but unfortunately they were out. I did not have much time anyway.
September 2
Staying at another friends place repairing my roof hinge that had become loose. A new metal plate I made out off some scrap. Next stop will be at my Cousin Norm age (86) near Maroochydore. Norm was so pleased to see me; we had a long chat and I showed him my photo’s of this trip. Then I went to Maroochydore shopping center. I took some photo’s of where I parked Plod in case I got side tracked. I brought a cheap sleep essence mattress to make myself a soft and cosy bed.

I called in to see some friends of Doug and Linda from the Christian Outreach which I was
fortunate to be able to help out during my travels before.  I was greeted with the usual Australian hospitality, a night stop, dinner and wine.

Sunday, arrived and off we went to Church of 600 members it was a special service for all you lovely farther’s. Cars and Motor bikes decorated the outside and inside of the Church. The band was great as well.

Bev and Clive having egg and bacon role for breakfast on Fathers day.

I drove up to North Arm to see my cousin Geoff and vicke his new lovely wife. I stayed the night in his qrand Queensland house and we all had a really good old chin wag about our family history. We have never had it so good as the saying might go.

Just one of Geoff many cars.
