The Long Drive Pemberton, Northcliffe, Walpole.

Dec 19

To day is rather cold overcast and raining. I drove through some lovely country looking at some more wineries.

I reached Pemberton stopping at the information board which was excellent far too much to take in and so many interesting things to see so its difficult to know what to look at.

Unfortunately I missed the Dave Evans Climbing tree. The Bicentennial lookout is more than 60 meters high making it the highest treetop lookout in the world. If the sign post had called it the climbing tree instead of The Bicentennial I would of been up the top by now. Now I have moved on too far to drive back properly for the best, I am very mad with myself, no good looking back.

Stopped at Northcliffe passed a little gift shop with an information sign the best information I have ever had they were most helpful. I stopped off at different places on the way looking at trees and talking to people that were trying to find the right places to visit driving up and down the roads as the maps are very vague.
