I had a lovely time at May and Brenden and it was time to say my farewells hoping I can return their hospitality when they visit the U.K.
I met up with Helen in Kings Park Perth a really lovely park well worth a visit. Time I had walked around I was rather on the collapsed side and glad to get to my night spot for a lie down just a few km south of Perth.

A long rest to day just pottering around and ironing a few clothes. Craig Atkins gave me a tinkle as there was a car meet in South Perth tonight (not a Morgan one) Penny his wife offered to fetch me I declined the offer of a lift as I was 50 km south of the meeting place and I thought it too far for Penny to fetch me which was a lovely gesture.
When back home in the U.K I drive 50 to 70 miles one way to a Morgan meet so 31 miles is a stone's throw.

We all met at James Mitchell Park, South Perth, a really beautiful place just like being in a country village.

I had a fantastic time meeting up with car lovers of all makes predominately Bentleys and
MGs unfortunately everyone thought we were going to have a thunder storm and left the posher cars at home like Bentleys and brought a Jaguar XK140 instead or just a tin top. Every car was immaculate.
I was treated to a fish and chip supper with wine and beer. Tit bits and dips with fruit cake and strawberry for afters. It was so good to be back at a car club meet. I had missed them being on my round trip in Australia and the setting was perfect.
