The Long Drive Streaky Bay to Port Lincon-Dutton Bay

Jan2
I started my day early as I wanted to do a lot before the sun got too hot. I had a very good day the weather was a complete opposite of yesterday it could not have been better. I went and had another look at Streaky Bay had a good chat to the garbage man they have never let me down yet far better than the tourist centres. My first site of interest was Murphy's Haystacks

This was an extremely good place to visit with a very good picnic spot I would of stayed longer but owing to Plods charging problems I headed off to Venus Bay I was not over  impressed with the village although the look out was worth the trip and I stopped and had my breakfast / lunch.

On to Woolshed Cave another grand stop a place I would favor for a picnic on the beach, beautiful rocks to admire walk and sit on as well as a swim.

Time to move on to Ellisyon  I took the Clifftop Drive well worth the detour very rewarding it was too.

I arrived in the busiest town of the day with caravans cars motor homes and people all milling around. I plodded on and came across some drystone walling and an old Eating House, now just a tourist attraction.

I finally arrived at my night spot and what a fabulous place it is the best camp spot I have had in all my travels as far as position, a fabulous out look.
