The long Drive To The Granites 18 km north of Kingston SE

Jan13
First I would like to say that Langhorne Creek was an extremely pleasant spot to camp. The wineries were great a pub just down the road a post office and a village shop not a lot of stock just the basics. The friendliness of every one in the village was great. I stayed for two nights and almost stayed for another night.
I had a very pleasant drive, crossed the ferry at Wellington and on the coast road Princes HWY down to The Granites rest area 18 km north of Kingston SE
Wellington cafe

Princes HWY

My night stop is rather a splendid place right on the sae with a tarmac road and standing area the only disadvantage was that there was a strong wind blowing. Cars were coming and going probably thought it far too windy for fishing. There was another camper from the Netherlands who stopped to camp.
