A bush fire in the hills |
After leaving Point Lowly I headed to Port Augusta to visit John and Norma Moss a Morgan man who kindly said I could park up and fix Plod. I arrived with a very warm welcome and was promptly given a choice of two beautiful room’s with bath shower and all mod cons. A cup of tea and a pleasant chat. I was a little up tight as the part I ordered had arrived and wasn't the item I had ordered at all. I ordered a Regulator and I even give them the part numbers as well. I got in stead a RH window winder what a complete contrast. They just did not listen to me and thought they knew best.
John and Norma took me to Autopro a motor factors to order my Regulator which should be here tomorrow, Saturday morning, well the lorry did not arrive so no part. It will be here Monday no part arrived on Monday.

I put on my new Alternator which took most of the day. We had a dinner party with some friends of theirs. Cec has many old cars and motor bikes with and without side cars on. Cec does all the work himself a very talented man.
